MIT’s Digital Currency Initiative developer Cory Fields discovered a destructive bug in the cash code of Bitcoin. The bug can be used by a hacker that could have wreaked havoc if not earlier detected. The news became viral so to speak as critics started to question the integrity of a main player in the cryptocurrency trading which is Bitcoin and why such bug was able to infest it.
A flaw in the code of Bitcoin Cash(Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash are actually two different currencies now) made it possible for an attacker to introduce transactions that the buggy versions of the software would accept, but all previous versions of the software would reject.
