The giants of the crypto world have been up against each other in coming up with their own state of the art mining hardware. Bitmain recently announced Bitcoins 14nm ASIC chip or Bitfury Clarke, intended for its SHA256 Bitcoin mining. Bitfury’s chip is able to produce a massive 120 gigahashes per second (GH/s) with an efficiency rate of only 55 millijoules per gigahash (mJ/GH).
