There are lots of cryptocurrencies discussed in this community. DogeCoin seems to be HOT! But I did not find a discussion. I’m creating this topic in case someone has information or an experience they want to share.

What is DOGE? Introduction to Dogecoin | Crypto Briefing
I really like the Dogecoin mascot a lot- Doge is a Shiba Inu, which is a Japanese breed of dog. No, I never heard of this coin but did some research- and Dogecoin is used with a wallet on your computer, your smartphone or website. This seems to be a tipping coin and you can use it to tip fellow internet-goers who create or share content.
A tipping coin? I like the idea of that. So then could I put a donation button at my website or blog and say “Dogecoin Tips Accepted” or “Treat me to a coffee. Donate a Dogecoin”? Similar to the way people put PayPal Donate buttons at their sites.
You could probably except Dogecoin on your site and exchange it for some fiat money as well- Exmo.com is a online exchange that supports a variety of virtual currencies. Users can exchange a digital currency for another and you can sell a cryptocurrency for USD- the site will transfer the fiat currency to their PayPal accounts.
One thing that makes Dogecoin stand out is the utility value of this coin- and almost all of Dogecoin’s volumes go toward actual use, like paying for stuff with it online. The only real purpose of most coins is the speculation on exchanges, this kind of means that such coins have not much real value at all. This gives Dogecoin good stability because it’s a everyday use currency.
