Washington DC folks in the likes of Goodlatte, chair of the House Judiciary Committee are already showing signs of appreciating cryptocurrency like bitcoin and ethereum. The chair is said to have some 17k to 60k worth of crypto monies. He has made a public disclosure of this in the House ethics committee as lawmakers are now required to disclose crypto trading and other such transactions.

They can only ignore these big numbers in the crypto world for so long, and these numbers are getting bigger everyday- something like 300 billion is the total market capitalization. These numbers mean that governments are forced to pay close attention to this crypto market.
