Factom a Texas based startup, is working on a technology that itegrates data collected by the sensors and cameras onto a blockchain, securing data and eliminating the opportunity to spoof, modify, or disrupt it. They recently were awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, to support beta data of a platform from Border Patrol cameras and sensors.

Factom is doing pretty good lately, and the price upsurge of Factom could be related to the fact, that the cryptocurrency’s Harmony blockchain-as-a-service(BaaS) technology is being deployed by a mortgage and software marketing firm, Equator.
