The blockchain system in Monero’s is resistant because of its unlinkability feature, a feat that was done by adapting a different version of the protocol: Diffie-Hellman exchange, that creates various single public addresses that can only be stored by the message receiver, but unreached those alien to the system within the block chain itself.
Monero’s unlinkability through stealth addresses are great for the recipients privacy and don’t allow a third party to see any transactions done in and out of the address on the blockchain.
